Society of Disability Studies Conference in Philadelphia
On Monday 31th May 2010 4 of us travelled to
present at a conference for the Society of Disability
Studies in Philadelphia U.S.A. We were there for 8
days.
Along with Rohhss and myself there was also Craig
and Daniel who are all from the University of
Manchester. I was asked to go because of the work
I do at the university. We all did individual papers
and then a joint one on partnership working.
After the conference we did some sightseeing, one
visit we went to was a day in New York. This was
fantastic.
I’m so pleased that I was given the opportunity to
experience Philadelphia and it was tiring but a great
experience.
