I had some bereavement counselling at the Eden Valley Hospice. She was very
understanding and she used to take me back home when we were finished.
Some people aren’t as lucky as me. Some people with the label of a learning
difficulty don’t get access to bereavement counselling. They just get labelled with
challenging behaviour. When really they are just expressing their wants and how
they are feeling.
My Uncle and my Grandmother passed away and it made me feel very tearful,
because I missed them. I still do.
